The Cumberland County Housing First Collaborative is working to end chronic homelessness in our region. By September 30th, we are hoping to have 42 individuals approved to move from homelessness to a permanent home with supportive housing.

A unique feature of our Housing First Program is that we are incorporating faith-based and community-based organizations & groups to help our homeless neighbors. We are asking that your organization assist by “adopting a homeless neighbor” which involves:
  1. Providing a “Welcome Home” Kit by collecting household items for individuals as they move off the streets into permanent housing.
  2. OPTIONAL: Providing a supportive community to our homeless neighbors as they are transitioning from homelessness to getting their lives on a firm footing.
We believe in a holistic approach to helping our neighbors and we need your assistance!

To get started, please review the materials by clicking here. Then click here to fill out a short form and we will be in touch soon!

We will work with you each step of the way and our Case Management Team is available to assist you with any questions you may have.
